Do you use OEM or aftermarket parts?
Short answer:Both — Labor Only Auto Repair recommends the right part for the job and your budget, and we always tell you which is going on your vehicle before installation.
For most repairs we install quality OE-equivalent aftermarket parts from name-brand manufacturers (ACDelco, Motorcraft, Bosch, Denso, NAPA, Moog, and others). These meet or exceed OEM specifications and often come with strong warranties, which lets us keep repair costs reasonable without cutting corners on reliability.
For certain platforms and components — hybrid drivetrain parts, some European electronics, safety-critical sensors — OEM parts are the right call and we'll say so. When there's a meaningful choice between OEM and aftermarket, we lay out the trade-offs (cost, warranty, longevity) and let you decide.
We do not install the cheapest no-name parts we can find. A part that fails in 6 months isn't a savings — it's a second repair bill and another loaner day. Our part choices are made to hit the 36-month / 36,000-mile warranty standard.
