Auto repair near Bullhorn Creek.
Bullhorn Creek is a small tributary that winds through farmland near Thorndale, feeding into the Brushy Creek and Brazos River watershed.

What makes it special
Bullhorn Creek is one of the many small tributaries that lace the Blackland Prairie between Thorndale and Hutto. It rises in rural Milam County, runs roughly southwest through working farmland and ranch country, and eventually feeds into the larger Brushy Creek system east of Hutto.
Most of its length is on private property, but US-79 crosses the creek just west of Thorndale and the bridge gives a quick look at a classic Texas prairie waterway — slow, shallow, lined with mesquite and hackberry, and at its best a few days after a good rain.
It's not a destination on its own, but it's part of the watershed that has shaped this corner of Central Texas for as long as anyone has been farming it.
