Auto repair near Downtown Manor.
Downtown Manor is a small historic main street along US-290, anchored by the 1898 City Hall building and a handful of restored storefronts and local restaurants.

What makes it special
Manor was founded in 1872 along the Houston & Texas Central Railway and grew slowly throughout the 20th century as a quiet farming town east of Austin. Its downtown reflects that history — wood-frame and brick commercial buildings, a small main street grid, and the 1898 Manor City Hall building as its centerpiece.
Pop-culture trivia: downtown Manor stood in for Permian Basin's fictional Dillon in the movie 'Friday Night Lights' (2004). Several scenes were filmed on the streets here, and locals will happily point out which storefront was which.
Manor's population has roughly tripled since 2010, making it one of the fastest-growing cities in Travis County, and downtown is starting to attract new restaurants, breweries, and small-business investment alongside the historic anchors.
