Auto repair near Lake Georgetown.
Lake Georgetown is a 1,300-acre US Army Corps of Engineers reservoir in the Hill Country northwest of town, ringed by parks and the popular Good Water hiking trail.

What makes it special
Lake Georgetown was created in 1979 when the Corps of Engineers dammed the North San Gabriel River for water supply and flood control. The result is one of the clearer, cleaner reservoirs in Central Texas — surrounded by Hill Country limestone bluffs rather than the muddier shorelines you find further east.
Four Corps of Engineers parks ring the lake: Cedar Breaks, Jim Hogg, Russell, and Tejas. Cedar Breaks is the main developed park with a swim area, picnic pavilions, and boat ramp. The 26-mile Good Water Loop trail circles the entire lake and is one of the best multi-day backpacking trips within driving distance of Austin.
Fishing here is excellent for largemouth and white bass, and the marina rents kayaks, paddleboards, and pontoon boats by the day.
