Auto repair near Downtown Buda.
Downtown Buda is a compact, walkable historic district along Main Street with restored early-1900s brick storefronts, the old stagecoach-era inn, and a beloved railroad depot that anchors community events.

What makes it special
Buda was founded in 1881 as a stop on the International–Great Northern Railroad, and the little grid of blocks around Main Street still reads like a classic Texas railroad town. The name is often traced to the Spanish 'viuda' (widow), a nod to the widowed cook who ran the original stagecoach inn.
Downtown was carefully preserved through the years the rest of Hays County boomed, and today it's a mix of family restaurants, antique shops, a bakery or two, and a couple of destination-worthy taquerias. Main Street closes down for the Buda Lions Country Fair & Wiener Dog Races each spring — one of the most quintessentially Texas small-town events on the calendar.
If you're dropping a vehicle at our shop, downtown Buda is a straight shot down I-35 and worth the detour on the way back for a meal.
