Auto repair near Tesla Giga Texas.
Tesla Giga Texas (Gigafactory Texas) is Tesla's roughly 10-million-square-foot vehicle and battery manufacturing plant on the Colorado River in southeast Austin — home to Model Y and Cybertruck production and Tesla's corporate headquarters.

What makes it special
Tesla broke ground on Giga Texas in mid-2020 on a 2,500-acre site along the Colorado River just east of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and Model Y production started in late 2021. Elon Musk officially opened the factory at the 'Cyber Rodeo' event in April 2022, and Tesla relocated its corporate headquarters from Palo Alto, California to the Austin site later that year.
The plant builds the Model Y for the eastern half of North America and is the exclusive worldwide production site for the Cybertruck, which began deliveries in late 2023. It also houses in-house 4680 battery cell production, a drive-unit line, and one of the largest single building footprints in the world — Tesla has said the finished factory floor will exceed 10 million square feet.
Giga Texas has anchored a wave of EV, battery, and supplier investment across Central Texas, and it's brought a lot of new-to-Texas Tesla owners and factory workers into our service area — many of whom keep a gas-powered second vehicle we're happy to keep on the road.
