Auto repair near Samsung Taylor Campus.
The Samsung Taylor campus is a multi-billion-dollar advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility under construction on more than 1,000 acres in Taylor — one of the largest foreign direct investments in U.S. history.

What makes it special
Samsung announced the Taylor semiconductor campus in November 2021 with an initial $17 billion investment, later expanded toward $40+ billion as the project grew. When complete, the campus will produce advanced logic chips at sub-5-nanometer process nodes for customers across automotive, mobile, and high-performance computing.
The fab sits on more than 1,000 acres along the western edge of Taylor, off SH 95 and FM 973, and is reshaping the region in real time — new housing, new schools, new restaurants, and a steady stream of construction traffic on US-79 between Taylor and Hutto.
Once fully operational the campus is expected to create thousands of direct jobs plus a much larger network of supplier and service positions throughout Williamson and Milam counties.
