Auto repair near Hutto High School.
Home of the Hippos, Hutto High School serves students across Hutto ISD and is widely known for its competitive athletics program — particularly football, baseball, and softball.

What makes it special
Hutto High School's modern campus opened in 2007 on Limmer Loop, replacing a much smaller facility that had served a much smaller town. Hutto ISD is one of the fastest-growing districts in Williamson County, and the high school has grown right alongside the population — the building has been expanded multiple times in the last decade alone.
Athletically, the Hippos compete in UIL Class 6A, the largest classification in Texas, and play at Memorial Stadium next door. Football Fridays in Hutto are a genuine community event: the stands fill up early, the marching band travels with the team, and a hippo mascot prowls the sidelines.
Beyond sports, the school is known for a strong fine-arts program and a growing CTE (career and technical education) pipeline that ties into employers like the Samsung Taylor campus just down US-79.
